Intrax is a leader in English language and work-based cultural exchange programs. Since 1980, Intrax has consistently delivered innovative, quality programs through our English Language, Career Development, Au Pair and High School Study Abroad businesses. As a result of our dedication and professionalism, Intrax has built a reputation for operational excellence and delivery of outstanding participant experiences.

For over 25 years, Intrax has been an official sponsor, designated by the U.S. Department of State, to administer the J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa program. During that time, we have successfully placed more than 300,000 participants from over 80 countries with companies throughout the United States.

Our English language schools have welcomed 8,000 international students annually since 1993. Our comprehensive curriculum was designed by an experienced panel of academic and business professionals, led by a PhD in the ESL field. Today, our English language schools provide a range of quality programs for all skill levels, including ESL classes, TOEFL & TOEIC preparation, Business and Internship programs.

Through a vast network of partnerships with host companies and universities in the U.S. and around the world, we continue to provide students, young adults and families with dynamic exchange opportunities that inspire personal growth, mutual respect and cultural understanding.

Accreditation and Credentials

Intrax International Institute, Intrax’ English language program, has been accredited by ACCET, the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training since 1996. In 2008, our U.S. centers received a five year re-accreditation by ACCET, the longest term grant possible. ACCET is officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a ‘reliable authority’ as to the quality of education and training provided by the over 200 organizations which they accredit. In maintaining accreditation, Intrax has demonstrated excellence in instruction, curriculum, student services and school management.

Intrax carefully selects its teachers based on their educational background, teaching experience and positive attitude in the classroom. All Intrax English teachers have at least a bachelor’s degree plus TESOL/TEFL certification or an MA in TESOL. Intrax Business teachers hold undergraduate or advanced degrees and possess several years of U.S. or international business experience.
